What is EPL?
EPL stands for Elastic - Plastic - Lasting. These three features help create a clear or tinted plastic coating on the most common types of outdoor woods with a revolutionary and groundbreaking result. Back to Top

How long will the EPL coating last?
All plastics rely on thickness for wear properties, so the thicker the coating the better. One EPL coating will provide a significant benefit, however, we recommend two or three coats to deliver the ideal performance and protection. Back to Top

Is it OK to put EPL on top of other coating products?
Yes, EPL can easily be applied on top of the most other products. If you want to stain in a separate step, do it first and allow to dry. Chose a stain that does not contain wax. It is now possible to obtain a tinted version of EPL in honey or chocolate. Back to Top

What is the coverage rate for EPL?
The first EPL coating will cover about 50-80 square feet per gallon. Additional coats will cover about 50% more. Overall, the coverage rate depends largely on the current condition of the wood. Back to Top
